- 8 oz pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water before draining.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
