A simple and delicious slow-cooked version of the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices ham
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Flatten chicken breasts to 1/4-inch thickness.
  2. Layer each breast with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of Swiss cheese.
  3. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Dip each chicken roll in melted butter, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Notes

  • Use toothpicks to keep rolls secure during cooking.
  • Check internal temperature reaches 165°F.
