A quick and easy beef and broccoli stir-fry ready in 30 minutes, perfect for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned, then remove from pan.
  4. Add garlic and broccoli to the pan, stir-fry for 3 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan and pour the sauce over.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Serve hot over rice.

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly for quick cooking.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste if needed.
  • Add red pepper flakes for heat.
