  • 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir into batter.
