A rich and indulgent baked ziti dish loaded with cheese and savory flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook ziti pasta according to package directions.
  3. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  4. Mix cooked pasta, beef mixture, marinara sauce, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Top with extra mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
