A quick and easy one-pan creamy mushroom chicken recipe that’s perfect for a 30-minute dinner. Tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich and creamy mushroom sauce.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme, then add to the pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add mushrooms and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, coating it with the creamy mushroom sauce. Serve hot.
