  • 6 cups French bread, cubed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place bread cubes in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, eggnog, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  4. Pour mixture over bread. Press bread down to soak.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
