A quick and easy beef and broccoli stir-fry recipe that’s perfect for a busy weeknight. Tender beef and crisp broccoli come together in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over high heat. Add beef and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from pan.
  3. Heat remaining oil in the same pan. Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Pour in beef broth and cover for 2 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan. Add oyster sauce and stir well. Cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
