A quick and easy homemade hummus recipe ready in just 5 minutes. Perfect as a healthy snack or dip.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 2-3 tbsp water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, salt, and cumin to a food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Add water 1 tbsp at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • For extra flavor, top with paprika or chopped parsley.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best taste.
