  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, oregano, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  5. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  6. Shred the chicken with forks and serve over rice or noodles.
